ACM DEBS 2023: Participation of CUSO PhD candidates

This activity intends to receive applications from students willing to take part to the ACM DEBS'23 conference to be held in Neuchatel.

During the first day of the conference (27.06.2023), activities for PhD students are organized regarding career advices, as well as in inspirational keynote at the end of the day.

CUSO students will be able to attend the whole conference, including the banquet. This activity is open only to CUSO PhD students, which are eligible to receive the grant. The participation to the PhD day is obviously the best fitting one.

CUSO students must attend the Doctoral Symposium, presenting their own research work. Additional details form the DEBS Poster Chair to be added.

Students can optionally also present a demo of their current research/doctoral thesis.

Note that these posters do not require a 2/4 pages article description, and hence (as opposite to the regular poster/demo submissions to DEBS'23), these posters will not appear in the ACM DL.

The Call for Posters/Demos/Doctoral Symposium on the web-site do no hold for CUSO students.

CUSO will refund to each of the approved participants the registration fees, as well as the a/r train to/from Neuchatel.

This grant does not cover lodging or other fees not explicitly included in the regular conference schedule. IN particular it does not cover additional meals on top of those included in the registration fees.

Before registering to the conference, you must receive a formal message from Valerio Schiavoni confirming that your registration to DEBS'23 will be covered by CUSO.
