Summary of thesis

Currently, the medical guidelines for screening patients at risk of liver cancer recommand using ultrasound devices but their sensitivity is limited in many cases. Therefore the combination of abbreviated magnetic resonnance imaging (AMRI) combined with deep learning could be an alternative to increase the detection of liver cancer while keeping a resonable cost for the screening procedure. I am then working on developping neural network algorithms for detecting liver cancer in MRI data to automate that screening process.
